Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to Y'all!

We pray you and your families are blessed with God's gift, Jesus, in your hearts & in your families. It is in Him and Him alone that we find peace and hope especially in these days when we realized that many times, we can take things for granted. We do pray that you and your loved ones have not been hurtfully affected by the pandemic nor by the many other negative events in our country and world. In any case, we rest in the fact that our King Lord and Savior Jesus is the ONE seating on the throne and in control. He has been faithful and as always provided above our needs and expectations.

As many of you know, we have been in South Texas since the very end of August to help our oldest son with a fixer upper he was in the process of buying. During the time we had to wait for closing, we were forced to drive all the way to Indiana to get one of our RV slides fixed. Though it was not fun having to drive all the way up, God gave Gary the idea of using some of our time to go and visit the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. As we shared in our Facebook page, both experiences were amazing. To be able to get a sense of the size and life style in the Ark and to saturate our brain with more knowledge and facts about our creation thru our experience in the Museum were both encouraging and reinforcing/supporting for our faith.

Back in Kingsville, TX, we were able to start helping with the beginning of our son's fixer upper fully for about a month. Then, it was me, Marielos alone for a couple fo weeks.

Most of you do not know that Gary was scheduled to have total reversed shoulder surgery mid-December, but three weeks before that, he tripped and while trying to break his fall, he totally blew out what was left of his left shoulder, so the surgery was moved to December 7th. Needless to say, the past weeks before and after surgery have been interesting. Praise God, Gary is improving faster than we thought. During his recovery, he was guiding our son with the remodeling via phone or while sitting at the fixer-upper. Right now, little by little, he is looking for ways to use his gift of service. I am so proud of my amazing husband!

The Lord has blessed both our sons with incredible godly women which we had the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving & Christmas with. Grateful for family, love and health. We enjoyed Jesus' birthday with a great meal, a good time and lots of laugher.

For all of our friend who had met Titus, he is doing better. He has lost weight and has more energy to play. He continues to be our brat that keeps us and those around us so entertained. We love him to pieces.
How can you support us:

  • Please do cover us with your prayers: for Gary's continuous and successful recovery & strength and guidance for me.
  • For divine appointments whenever we come in contact with people who do not know Jesus and do not have a relationship with God the Father thru Him.
  • For our finances: being the children of God comforts us knowing that He always provides by putting in people's heart to support us with our expenses. Our major expense is gas to drive to the places we serve. Right now, it is mainly to take care of the rent of the RV spot as well as any extra charges/related expenses that Medicare does not cover from his surgery. Please prayerfully consider donating any amount God puts in your heart following this link:
    • Online donations are tax-deductible only for USA Citizens & Residents thru http://www.waterworshipword.org/p/support-information.html.Scroll down to the DONATE online section and please be sure to choose Gary and Marielos in the Missionary/Project box.

      The Kurtz - Summer 2020

       Hello Friends😊!!

This year, we spent 2.5 months of our summer volunteering at Golden Bell Camp & Conference Center, serving as RV Hosts once again,

To be honest, this was not in "our plans," but obviously in God's. We had made arrangements to work in order to safe funds for our expenses for the rest of the year. However, again and again, the Lord provided in His mighty ways.

His mercies are new everyday! He did want us to be at the camp because He knew help was really needed. The camp was short staffed and all of us were stretched everywhere we served. There is no doubt it was the Holy Spirit who kept us all going everyday thru the many different activities. In spite of the limitations, the camp was able to have some camps and was able to bless many lives. We, at the RV park, were unusually packed most of the time as people were very eager to get out of their homes. Churches, families and friends were able to come and enjoy some healthy fun outdoors.

Though the enemy thinks he is in control, God is the One sitting on the Throne. His Holy Spirit is always at work. His love for souls that can be rescued, hearts that can be healed and relationships that can be mended are above anything else happening around this world.

I, Marielos, helped around the RV Park most of my time. I assisted with the RV Park office: putting welcome packages together, check-in & outs, cleaning the restrooms and of course  welcoming the RVers and tenters. I also enjoyed making a  sign for the RV Shack, named  Gotta Hav' It, a new sign for the RV Park that we put right below the GB main entrance sign that I touched up.

Garito 😍 put into practice his God giving talents remodeling the building where Gotta Hav' It is now. He was patience as I requested him to take care of some projects around the RV Park: putting up a stop sign, the new RV sign by GB Camp main entrance. He also built a fence and helped with a horseshoe pit among other projects around the Camp.

But not everything was work. We had some good times with friends and family in Christ. Our first week at the camp, we, the volunteers, and all the staff enjoyed some yummy BBQ cooked at the Chuck Wagon. We went out for dinner & fellowship with bothers and sisters who used to work at the camp  and, with our other RV volunteers. We also took a couple of rides to see a friend we met in Costa Rica and did some sightseeing. God is good!

We will be posting more pictures on our Facebook page.

As always we ask you to please PRAY for the following:

      • For an increase in our knowledge of God's love, blessings and riches to be able to share The Gospel in a way that brings Him glory, praise and honor.
      • For the Holy Spirit’s coverage, guidance and discernment to use opportunities wisely to share the message of The Cross while serving the needy.
      • For God to keep us strong and in good health, encouraged and persevering no matter the circumstances.
      • For safety while on the road to our different destinations.
      • For Financial Support:  We live by faith and not by sight. The Lord has been faithful as He puts in people's hearts to donate to our ministry thru different means: funds, tokens of love like gifts cards, food, etc. So, Would you prayerfully consider supporting our ministry and/or pray for others to do so. Our major expenses are food & fuel. Any amount will truly bless and help us as every seed that is planted in our ministry has always been multiplied in ways beyond our understanding, simply in God's supernatural ways. The Kurtz's in "isolation"

      Hello Y'all 😊!!
Though the enemy thought he could restrict us from serving The Lord because of the virus, God already had plans for us during this season.  For the last 3 months, He gave us the privilege to serve at the Adrian Camp and Conference Center in Adrian, Georgia. We spend a lot of hours in the remodeling of the nurses station. Gary replaced all the eaves and overhangs, drywalled the bathroom and upgraded much of the electric service. I (Mari) sealed and painted the entire interior in addition to brightening up the overall look of the station. Here are some of the pictures to show you the transformation.

Gary was also instructed to take down one of the cottages, board by board on his own. I helped him a few hours with removing nails and loading a trailer with the many reusable boards taken down.

The Gaga Pit needed to be painted too, so I gave it some love. I also made a signed  and some art for the outside of the Nurse Station.

Right now, we are in Golden Bell Camp and Conference Center where we will be volunteering until September, God willing. We are RV Hosts and Gary is also  helping with maintenance around the camp and as requested in the Camp.
Please keep these camps in your prayers as many of the events were canceled but finally some are being allowed to open with restrictions.

For more pictures, I will posting them on our Facebook page

God is good, in control and sitting on the Throne. He is faithful and watches over us! He has given us the gift of prayer to encourage and lift each other up, so please keep these prayer requests in your devotion and quiet times:
      • For divine appointments wherever we are serving.
The Kurtz - First Trimester 2020

      Hello Friends,

With what is going around the world, I (Marielos) thought I shouldn't update our travels, but since several people have been asking about them, I decided to do it. Right now, we are in Adrian, Georgia serving in a Christian camp and conference center. We will be telling you more about it in a future post.

As most of you know, we spent the first two months of the year at The Cove/Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC.

At the beginning, I (Marielos) had my reservations because it was winter, but the Lord knew we needed to be there during this time when help was needed the most. On December 23rd the Cove had a fire that forced them to close the place and consequently cancelled all their events. However, what the devil meant for for evil, The Lord used it for good.

During this time, only employees and volunteers were allowed around. Work that had been put on hold for lots of years was taken care: structural upgrades, update equipment, etc.
We also loved that we were able to get to know much closer most of the Cove staff and employees.

Though it was winter, the weather was great. Cold, rainy and practically no snow.  Actually the day we got snow, I loved it.

By mid February, The Cove was reopened and as volunteers, we were blessed with a great dinner, enjoy a concert with Brandon Health and watch the I Can Believe movie. We had a tremendous experience in this godly & peaceful place! We can't wait to go back next year.

One of our brothers in Christ who works at The Cove blessed  us with tickets for a tour in the Biltmore House. We got to enjoy it with our beloved friends Gary & Sandy.
      Wow! That place is impressive!

We were also blessed to help one of our brother's in Christ & ministry supporters with the painting of his new house interior.

Our prayer in this unique time of all our lives is first, for each and every one of us to draw nearer to God, for all our Lord Jesus wants is a relationship with us. And second, to make time to enjoy with friends and family. Please do not let satan steal these precious moments.

      God bless y'all!
      Romans 8: 38-39
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from  God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
